Privacy and cookie choices

Calculator inputs are processed in your browser. This version does not send your measurements or prices to an application server and does not require an account.

Saving on this device

Choosing “Save on device” stores that estimate in your browser’s local storage. The latest 10 estimates are retained on that browser and device, including inputs and any prices you entered. They are not synchronized to an account. Use “Clear saved estimates” to remove them. Calculating alone does not save entries.

“Copy result” writes the result and inputs to your clipboard. “Copy link” includes those inputs in the link’s fragment, after the # character. Anyone you give the link to can view the measurements and prices. The fragment is not part of the ordinary HTTP request to the host. In a local preview, the link only works on the computer running that local server.

Fonts and external links

The design serves its fonts from this website; it does not request fonts from Google or another font service. If fonts are unavailable, the browser uses a fallback font. Source links open websites with their own privacy practices. The hosting provider may keep ordinary access logs.

Optional analytics

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages and calculators are useful. It receives page paths, calculator identifiers, actions such as calculate or print, the unit system, browser and device information, and approximate geographic information. Google receives the IP address required to deliver its service; Google states that GA4 does not log or store individual IP addresses. Processing may take place outside your country, including in the United States.

We do not send calculator measurements, prices, saved estimates, typed searches, email addresses or shared estimate fragments to Analytics. Page URLs are stripped of query strings and fragments, and referring URLs are reduced to their origin. Google Signals and advertising personalization are not enabled by this site.

Analytics stays off until you choose “Allow analytics”. Rejecting optional analytics does not affect the calculators. Open “Cookie settings” in the footer at any time to change your choice or withdraw consent. Withdrawal removes the Analytics cookies this site can access and reloads the page to stop the loaded tag. It does not erase information already processed by Google.

Your choice is stored on this device for up to 180 days under myyardcalc-consent-v1. If you consent, Google Analytics uses _ga and _ga_* cookies, configured here to expire after 180 days without automatic renewal. Event and user data in Analytics are retained for 14 months; aggregated reports can remain available longer. Clearing browser storage removes your saved choice and saved estimates. If storage is blocked, your choice may last only for the current page.

Contact and hosting

Spaceship hosts this website and Cloudflare provides DNS, content delivery, security and inbound email forwarding. These providers may process connection information and access logs to operate and protect their services. If you email hello@myyardcalc.com, your message and sender address are forwarded through Cloudflare to our support inbox at Yahoo and used to respond. Do not send passwords, payment details or other sensitive information. We retain correspondence while needed to handle your enquiry and associated obligations; contact us to request deletion, subject to those obligations.

Advertising and ad blockers

No advertising scripts, email subscriptions or checkout are currently installed. The site may locally check whether a small test element commonly filtered by ad blockers is hidden. If it is, a dismissible support notice may appear once per browser session. This check makes no network request, stores only a session flag, is not sent to Analytics and never restricts the calculators. Any future advertising will require an updated notice and appropriate consent controls before activation.

Questions and privacy requests

Email hello@myyardcalc.com for access, correction or deletion requests concerning information you have sent us, or to ask about this notice. Cookie settings let you withdraw optional analytics consent directly. Depending on your location, you may have additional privacy rights and the right to contact your local supervisory authority.
